I have issues with high 'estimated' bills. Live alone, no kids or grands..last year had 6 cats and 2 dogs...did a ton of wash..this year..3 cats and 1 dog..half the washing..

Average bill from March to Oct was $30 in 2016. In 2017, every other month it is $60! When I call they say.."oh it was estimated." Then, they allege they come out and do a reading...then bill drops to $30. In 2 months I pay $90 for service that was $60 last year..

Where is the other $30 going? The house is 1200 sq. Ft..and an old lady can only do so much laundry or run the dishwasher or take hot showers...the furnace is gas, but we've had very mild winters in North Texas. The issues isn't from Nov.

to Feb. when the furnace MAY be on, it is the warmer months!! I think there is "over billing fraud" going on.

I lodged a formal complaint with the Texas Railroad Commission. They are researching and going to call me back.

Product or Service Mentioned: Atmos Energy Residential Gas Supply.

Reason of review: Pricing issue.

Monetary Loss: $200.

Preferred solution: Get off the chair and do actual readings! .

I didn't like: Being taken advantage of, Taking advantage of elderly homeowners.
