My family went on vacation for 2 weeks at christmas and forgot to pay the bill. When we got back I was outside a man drove up to cut my gas off, I called Atmos and paid the bill while the technician was there he cut it off anyway and told me he would come back in about 20 minutes to turn it back on.

I called Atmos and spoke to Delila employee #26238 not only would she not turn it back on until the next day she added 100 dollars onto my bill as a deposit and another 65 dollars to reconnect. The temperature dropped to 39 degrees in my house that night and I had no heat or hot water and I have children. Atmos cares about no one or nothing except money I will be changing out my hot water heater and gas heater in my home.

I also had to take a day off work for them to light my pilots so I lost that income. We are hard working middle class family that pays our bills and Atmos just does not give a rats *** about people.

Monetary Loss: $400.

Atmos Energy have $25 million in there (I was ex-Atmos Energy employee). These executives want more more more money to get big bonus check.

I urged you to get an attonery to sue Atmos Energy.

Atmos Energy is a lying, scandalous, money-grubbing company. They put a padlock on our meter 3 days after it's due date.

3 DAYS. By law they are required to post a notice of impending disconnection which NEVER HAPPENED. The rep my husband spoke to swore it was in the system. They told my husband somebody knocked on the door & left a disconnection notice after 3 DAYS.

I'm a stay-@-home mother & I'm pretty sure I would've heard someone knock on my door. Or @ the very least my dogs would've alerted me to their presence. Now in order to get gas back on they say we have to pay a $400 dollar deposit to get it turned back on. Atmos should be ashamed of themselves for lying to LOYAL CUSTOMERS--customers that pay their paychecks!

Customers that keep these crooked, greedy, lying SOBs in business in the 1st place. Plus I love how the fine print on here says that personal attacks will be deleted. So I guess what you're trying to say is that anything negative will be deleted b/c Atmos obviously can't handle criticism.

But that's ok. B/c I guarantee that the BBB can & will take honest criticism.
